Light as a feather - why Amme is my lash salon of choice

Most girlfriends I know are always on the hunt for fabulous lashes - something that illuminates the eyes and adds that extra oomph that you need, especially on a Monday! After experimenting with Keratin lashes for a while, I’m ready to share how I finally tried lash extensions at Amme, conveniently located in Central (opposite Zara).

Stepping into Amme is a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Central, the lounge area is spacious yet incredibly inviting. Besides the treatment area, they also have 3 stylishly furnished VIP treatment rooms that exude an earthy and warm vibe that is bound to make you feel relaxed and at home.

Classic lash extension

I decided to take the plunge and try lash extensions for the first time last year, opting for the Classic treatment at a reasonable price for a more natural look. I was thrilled with the results - the lashes were light as a feather and required minimal care, allowing me to sleep through the process with no discomfort. I appreciated the after-care instructions provided, including how to carefully apply eyeliner to avoid damaging the lashes.

Bindlock lash extensions

Having been a regular at Amme for a few months, I decided to try the Bindlock treatment. This option sandwiches 2 faux lashes onto each of my natural lashes, creating a more secure hold compared to the Classic treatment and making them less prone to falling off! This treatment took around 1.5 hrs (100 mins) but Kiri, my lash girl was super gentle that I ended up falling asleep.

Now, six weeks later, I'm still impressed with the staying power of the lashes - they're holding up remarkably well. Overall, I highly recommend Amme lash bar for anyone looking for quality service and a relaxing atmosphere.

Here’s a clearer look. I went with 40:40 (which means 40 lashes per eye) and this appears deceptively voluminous because of the ‘sandwich’ effect compared to if I went with the Volume lash treatment where 4-5 lashes would be attached to each of my natural lashes.
